About Dr. Bermas

Dr. Honnie Bermas joined Fox Valley Surgical Associates in 2008, specializing in breast surgery.

She received her bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Colgate University and her medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine. Dr. Bermas completed an internship in surgery at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, a residency in general surgery at Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver and a fellowship in breast surgery at Northwestern University’s Lynn Sage Comprehensive Breast Surgery Center.

Certified by the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Bermas specializes in benign and malignant disease of the breast. She has a special interest in breast cancer and strives to provide patients with the most up-to-date treatment options.

In her free time, Dr. Bermas enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her family.

“From the time of the initial consultation, I will be my patient’s advocate and provide support throughout treatment and recovery,” Dr. Bermas said.
